The How and Why Wonder Book of Science Experiments Cover 1962 Wooden Poster
How and Why Wonder Books were a series of illustrated American books published in the 1960s and 1970s that was designed to teach science and history to children and young teenagers. All of books followed a similar format and were typically written in a form of a question followed up by an answer paragraph. Virtually all of the illustrations were hand art.
There appears to have been around 70 books in this series. At least some of them were available in hardcover. This is the cover of The How and Why Wonder Book of " Science Experiments" that was published in 1962 (#5034).
It is baked on sturdy, durable wood through a process known as decoupage.
*Each poster is handcrafted individually, so keep in mind that the final result may vary slightly.
