The How and Why Wonder Book of Primitive Man Cover 1961 Wooden Poster
How and Why Wonder Books were a series of illustrated American books published in the 1960s and 1970s that was designed to teach science and history to children and young teenagers. All of books followed a similar format and were typically written in a form of a question followed up by an answer paragraph. Virtually all of the illustrations were hand art.
There appears to have been around 70 books in this series. At least some of them were available in hardcover. This is the cover of The How and Why Wonder Book of "Primitive Man" that was published in 1961 (#6517).
It is baked on sturdy, durable wood, comes ready to hang and is guaranteed to stand out wherever you decide to place it.
